Event Formats

Scramble - Team Gross -All players will tee off on each hole. The team will then select the best or preferred tee shot. From within one club length of that point all players will then play the next shot, the best or preferred shot is once again selected. All shots must be played from the same condition as the ball selected, i.e. balls in the rough must remain in the rough, balls in a hazard must remain in the hazard. This format continues until the ball is holed.

Shamble - Two Best Ball - All players will tee off on each hole. The team will then select the best or preferred tee shot, from which all players will then play their own ball for the remainder of the hole until their ball is holed. Note that all putts must be holed for a person’s score to count. Record the individual score on the provided
scorecard. The total of the two best individual scores per hole will be your score.

Best Ball - Everyone plays his or her own ball for the hole and the best score of the foursome is recorded as the team score. This is a more time consuming format because every player could have to potentially play out their ball. May count gross or net scores - based on availability of handicaps.

Food Services

The food service you provide for your players and guests is a major part of their overall outing experience. It can be as simple or elaborate as you wish. The Ranches features an Tournament Menu with offerings for lunch.

Venue options include our cozy restaurant that seats up to 45 guests or the large banquet Pavilion area that seats up to 200 and overlooks the entire property. Times are restricted for clubhouse use based on time and other play at the facility.

Food & Beverage service isn’t confined to just these areas. The Ranches Golf Club also operates food & beverage carts on the course. These mobile mini-marts are stocked with a wide variety of snacks, sandwiches, cold drinks, and beer.

Purchases can be made with pre-arranged tickets or on a consumption basis.
